I took this photo at my friends’ house on the eve of the new year. I really liked how this little boy lay down on the sofa and started playing with the kitten, he hugged him very carefully. In order to take this photo, I used only the light from the garlands.
The photo was taken by me on February 21, 2020 in Moscow, during a run-through before “The Swan Lake” ballet. In the photo, the soloist of the “Russian Classical Ballet” Elizaveta Taranda. She took a break after the run, stands in the light of a projector with a phone, mentally prepares to go on stage. Her face is calm, and at the same time, focused.
Taken in Ireland, home to some of the best salmon. Somehow this seems to be the most suitable match for smoked salmon, with sour cream, topped with lemon zest and chives with some cracked pepper. You can taste the smokiness of the salmon, I learnt to make this from a very special French man and it’s stuck with me ever since.
