The Breath of the Forest
There is a particular kind of silence that only exists where the water meets the roots. It is a heavy, damp stillness, the kind that asks you to stop your own internal chatter and simply listen to the slow pulse of the earth. We spend so much of our lives rushing toward the next horizon, forgetting that the most profound wisdom is often found in the places where the light struggles to reach the ground. In these hidden corners, time does not tick; it drifts. The trees do not hurry to grow, and the water does not rush to leave. They exist in a state of perfect, unforced being. To stand in such a place is to realize that we are not separate from the world, but a part of its slow, rhythmic breathing. When we finally let go of our need to define or conquer, we find that the forest has been waiting for us to arrive, not as masters, but as guests.

Tanmoy Saha has captured this quiet sanctuary in his beautiful image titled Deep Inside of Ratargul. It serves as a gentle reminder to seek out those places where the world slows down enough for us to hear our own hearts. May you find a moment of such stillness in your own day.
