Born in 1961, Orhan Aksel is an industrial and systems engineer who founded a high-tech company in Istanbul after graduating from the University of Florida. A passionate photographer since the age of 12, Aksel developed his technical foundation in traditional darkrooms. He now approaches photography as a philanthropic endeavor, aiming to transition his creative hobby into a professional pursuit that supports the education of children in need worldwide.
