Champagne Macarons by Leanne Lindsay
The rain was drumming down this afternoon, and I was starting to feel a bit cooped up inside. But instead of surrendering to the gloomy weather, I decided to turn it into an opportunity for a fun baking and photography session! I've always loved the challenge and satisfaction of baking beautiful and delicious treats. Today, I was craving something colorful and a little whimsical, so I decided to whip up a batch of these vibrant champagne macarons. While the cookies were baking, I prepped my camera to capture them. I wanted to create a photo that was just as cheerful and bright as the cookies themselves. Using natural light, I arranged the macarons in champagne glasses for a bit of fun. Even though I was stuck inside, these little macarons brought a ray of sunshine to my day.

Unique Tradition by Harris Hendrato
"The Uniqueness of Tradition" This photo was taken on May 11, where the process of dividing the results of the livestock in the photo is being matched and when the livestock have given birth, the results of the offspring will be divided equally between both parties. This is very unique and interesting, because when one of the breeders does not have a partner for their livestock, they will match them by sharing the profits and remaining fair.

Dance of the Jellyfish by Leanne Lindsay
I found myself there recently, guiding my grandchildren through the intricacies of their new DSLRs in manual mode, at the Sydney Aquarium. One exhibit, however, stopped us all in our tracks. Within a darkened tank, three jellyfish drifted serenely. Their translucent forms, illuminated, revealed intricate details of their ballet skirts and iridescent tentacles. They pulsed with a gentle rhythm, creating the illusion of an underwater ballet. The vibrant colours of their bodies glowed against the inky darkness, a truly captivating spectacle. Their mesmerizing movements held me spellbound. It was no wonder my grandchildren were captivated, their cameras poised to capture the perfect image. These ethereal creatures offered a perfect subject for their photographic exploration, a testament to the wonders that lie beneath the surface. Perhaps, amongst their attempts, they too captured a moment as captivating as this 'Dance of the Jellyfish'.
