The Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris (literally the Cathedral of Our Lady, referred to in Czech as the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary or the Temple of the Mother of God), French Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, is a Gothic cathedral standing on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité on the Seine River in Paris.

The raw trout has a very nice texture. When the light comes from one side, stands out the texture. The color of the trout contrast with the cutting board and the white table surface. And the green of the lemons and parsley contrast with the orange of the trout, as opposite colors. The pepper seeds are just a detail.

The assignment for the Diploma in Food Photography was to arrange the objects in a place that capture the viewer attention. The ideal places are the golden points. So I put the wooden cutting board at the upper left golden point creating a big negative space that highligts the garlic.
