The Stillness Within the Tide

There is a particular kind of silence that exists only in the center of a storm. It is not the absence of sound, but a profound inward turning, a place where the clamor of the world loses its power to disturb. We often mistake movement for progress, believing that to be alive is to be caught in the current of the crowd, pushed along by the weight of collective expectation. Yet, the most enduring strength is found in the ability to remain anchored while everything else drifts. It is the quiet resolve of a tree in the wind or a stone in a rushing river. When we choose to stop, to breathe, and to let the noise of the world pass through us rather than against us, we find that we are never truly alone. We are part of a vast, unfolding rhythm, a season of the soul that asks only for our presence. To be still is to finally hear the song that has been playing all along.

The Monk by Sourav Das

Sourav Das has captured this quiet grace in his image titled The Monk. It is a gentle reminder that even in the middle of a great journey, one can find a sanctuary of peace. May we all find such stillness in our own wandering.
