The Quiet Path Home

I spent this morning trying to find my keys, tearing through the hallway closet until I was breathless. In the middle of the chaos, I stopped. I realized I was so focused on the frantic search that I had completely forgotten where I was actually trying to go. It happens to me often—this tendency to get lost in the noise of the day, chasing small, urgent things while the bigger purpose slips into the background. We spend so much energy navigating the clutter of our lives that we rarely pause to check our internal compass. Sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is simply stop moving. To stand still in the middle of the rush, to breathe, and to remember that the destination is not nearly as important as the intention we carry with us. When was the last time you stopped moving long enough to hear your own thoughts?

To the Way of Our Lord by Zahraa Al Hassani

Zahraa Al Hassani has captured this sense of quiet purpose in her beautiful image titled To the Way of Our Lord. It reminds me that even in the busiest of places, there is always a path toward peace if we choose to look for it. Does this image bring a sense of stillness to your day?
