The Ink of Eternity

Can a human hand ever truly capture the breath of the divine, or are we merely tracing the shadows of a language that existed before we were born? We spend our lives attempting to anchor the infinite into the finite, carving symbols into stone and clay as if to prove that our fleeting presence has left a mark upon the silence. There is a profound humility in the act of writing—a recognition that we are vessels for something larger than our own intellect. We reach for the pen, or the chisel, hoping to translate the rhythm of the universe into a shape that the eye can hold. Yet, the ink eventually fades, and the clay returns to the earth, leaving us to wonder if the beauty lies in the permanence of the work or in the brief, trembling moment of its creation. If the message is eternal, why does the hand that writes it always tremble?
