Know the Personality of Your Camera
Can you imagine someone sketching without ever holding a pencil, or writing a language they do not know? Likewise, believing that a camera on auto mode will always create beautiful photographs is naïve. A snapshot may freeze a moment, but it cannot capture emotion, intention, or artistry without the photographer’s understanding and creative vision.
Auto mode can give you correct exposure, but not expression. Photography begins where automation ends—when the photographer shapes light, shadow, and depth with awareness. Knowing your camera beyond its settings reveals its personality, transforming it from a machine into an artistic companion. Only then can your images speak the language of creativity.
