Almond
Rich in dietary fiber, minerals and vitamins, almonds are well-balanced food principles that are essential for optimum health and wellness. They are delicious, and often eaten on its own, raw or toasted. Almonds are also a component of various dishes, and available in many forms, such as whole, sliced (flaked, slivered), and as flour.
Black Salt
As salty and pungent-smelling condiment, black salt is used extensively in South Asian cuisines of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan in chaats, chutneys, salads, all kinds of fruits, raitas and many other savory Indian snacks. It is considered a cooling spice in ayurvedic medicine and is used as a laxative and digestive aid. It is also used to treat hysteria, and for making toothpastes by combining it with other mineral and plant ingredients.
Bay leaf
From European cuisines to the cuisines of Americas, Indian, French, Arab, as well as Philippines, bay leaf is widely used for flavoring. It has few verities. The Indian bay leaf has a fragrance and taste similar to cinnamon (cassia) bark, but bit milder. The Indonesian bay leaf, which is only common is Indonesia and is mainly applied to the meat dishes. The California bay leaf, which is similar to the common Mediterranean bay laurel also has a strong flavor. To get the full flavor leaves are used several weeks after picking and drying.
