Leonardo Isla Solís is a photographer based in Coyhaique, Chilean Patagonia. His work focuses on experimental projects that explore the essence of local and family themes, using archives and objects as a starting point. His creative process is rooted in handcrafted techniques. On the one hand, he applies emulsions, such as cyanotype, to create pieces that connect the tangible with the historical. On the other hand, he captures images with pinhole cameras made from recycled materials and also works in 35mm film, building a diverse visual narrative deeply rooted in the territory.
