Chenyelle Black

Born (Lexington, Kentucky, USA) Chenyelle has always wanted to become an artist. Anything with art or design she loved it. She didn’t think she would be able to pursue in the art field. She would have to move to California or New York to pursue in something that she enjoyed doing. At the time she couldn’t afford to just get up and move out of state. But, something about making food look pretty and appealing to the eye was something she enjoyed doing. She loved the creativity behind it. She graduated with her culinary degree in May, 2025. But she wanted to do more than just cooking. A good friend mentioned that she should become a food stylist/food photographer. So she looked around, and it seemed like she couldn’t find no one or a school to teach her to learn the food photography skill. Though she don’t have too much experience with a camera, she is willing to learn how to use one and capture the perfect picture. That is why she came to Light & Composition to help her with the tools that she needs to become a professional food photographer.
