While walking through the streets of China Town in Manhattan, N.Y., this beautiful lady grabbed my attention with all her merchandise ready to start the day, a new day, another day of hope, hoping for a better day. I liked the buildings in the back, so I bend my knees a little and "click", froze that beautiful moment forever.

As soon as I seen him, he touched my heart. He was just sitting there singing, it was almost like he was waiting for something, something more then some lose change or a dollar. In his eyes I saw something, perhaps like hope; maybe others sees him like hopeless, however, I just saw a man waiting for hope.

This photo I took while on vacation for a few days. It was on May and it was still a little chilly out, it was almost summer so the temperature was perfect. Walking through the streets of China Town, New York and surrounded with its beautiful people, I saw this gentleman standing, it looked like he was just resting or taking a small break from his job. I think he saw me taking his picture; he was staring straight at the camera. I just hope he was smiling behind that mask.
