Janine Brauneis

Born in Germany, Janine Brauneis is currently based in Hamburg. Since more than 25 years she often stays at the North Sea coast or on the islands in the UNESCO World Heritage site Wadden Sea. Her photographic focus is on birds and coastal landscapes. If time allows, she is a passionate traveller and recent journeys included photo trips to Iceland and Ireland. Every year she attends photo workshops specializing in nature and wildlife photography in order to improve and broaden her skills. Only lately, she discovered her favour for macro photography of flowers and insects – unveiling the little secrets of a cosmos of its own.
