This was a lucky shot. I put my camera to the ground and pushed the shutter release button. This football has been laying in that same spot for a really long time, none wanted to play with it – thus the title, Left behind.
This little 2-year-old girl looked at me today, while taking her picture. Her stare was so strong, it made me feel bonded to her somehow, made me imagine how one of her days must be. There was so much light and mystery in those eyes.
