In my search for photographs for an exhibition with the theme “Seasonal Movements”, I came across this vineyard with it’s beautiful autumn colored foliage. During the shoot, I was fortunate enough to have this bird come and sit on one of the trellises. These trellises are used to increase the production of the vineyards.
December of 2013 brought a devastating ice storm to our area. Yet the beauty of the frozen nature around still had to be admired in spite of the harsh cold.
I was experimenting with the possibilities of using a reversed kit lens for macro photography and this photograph was taken of the edge of a rose’s foliage.
