Local inhabitants are called the Intha, and they are devout Buddhists who drive their flat-bottom boats by standing on the stern with one leg and using the other leg with the oar to row in order to obtain better vision over the reeds.
The photo was taken in an evening walk with my friend and children before sunset, 07/18/2020. The isolation in Moscow had just ended, and we went with my kids out of town to my friends, we were hungry for the peace and quiet of nature. The lake near the town of Zvenigorod was like a mirror. When I saw this conour of big old culture center, I wanted to show the contract between little girl and the huge walls, also the geometry plays in our favor. However, it was not good weather, and I had to use the high ISO. I think we got a nice interesting result at the end.
