This photograph shows two friends taking a walk together in the surrounding buildings of the Louvre Museum. The area around the Louvre is characterized by old buildings and narrow streets that just invite to create photographs in black and white. Paris is the city of black and white photography. A color photograph would never truly reflect the charm and beauty of this city.
As you may have already known that smaller forms are usually called doves, larger forms pigeons. An exception is the white domestic pigeon, the symbol known as the “dove of peace.”
