This photograph was taken during a bank holiday weekend in May, 2022 in Richmond, England. It was the first time Nikki had visited Richmond in over 10 years and after climbing the top of Richmond Hill, she vowed she would visit more after seeing the vast beauty of what lay before her.

I was on my daily photo walk when I noticed fire engines and emergency vehicles up ahead. When I arrived at the site, there appeared to be nothing going on. Possibly the emergency passed. I did notice a legless man in a wheel chair sitting immobile on the corner, seemingly unfazed by all that was happening around him. I was able to make a a couple of photographs of him before he became aware of me.

Taken in 2021 while visiting her father down in Devon, England, Nikki always puts on a feast for him usually using freshly bought ingredients from Borough Market in London. A true lover of truffle and artichokes, this board is a foodie's dream paired with a fine wine and enjoyed during a long overdue catch-up with friends or family.
