Apple Cake with Vanilla Crème, by Ola Cedell

Apples really belong to the autumn and is one of the most Swedish imaginable. A delicious cake with vanilla sauce is as Swedish as Ikea and different from the French versions. The variations are endless but the traditional do with much cinnamon. Can easily be frozen and reheated, works equally well on coffee coffee you that after dinner as dessert! The photo was taken using studio strobes, overhead with a 50mm lens.

Food has been a big part of Cedell’s life, as he always enjoys tasting and trying new things. Besides his engineering career, he has been enjoying amateur photography since 1996. Nowadays, Landscape and food photography are his main categories, i.e. for the catering company Gazpacho. His inspiration comes form all around the world, but mainly in southern Sweden as well as France Alpes/Provence.
