It was recently Valentines Day in Australia and the tradition is that women are given flowers by their partner, and my husband didn't disappoint. I think he expected I would put them in a vase and display them but I had other plans for these. I grabbed my camera, pulled the beautiful bunch of flowers apart and used the flowers as subjects for some creative still-life photography.

During my visit to one of the tourist attractions in Yogyakarta, I encountered a rickshaw elegantly parked in a quiet corner. The texture of the walls and floor, combined with the vibrant colors of the rickshaw, captivated me. In that moment, I thought to myself, "This is a composition worth immortalizing.

taken when accompanying mother to buy kitchen needs at the mini market. when choosing vegetables, my eyes immediately fell on a container filled with piles of red apples. and it's as if my gaze is focused on the frame observing the composition and color. and reflexively I immediately capture the moment.
