I mediate often, and my place of peace is by the lake. I used to go to this particular lake often and I always found this gentleman meditating or possibly performing his affirmations but regardless of what he was doing while his eyes were closed, he was in the moment, at peace, and in complete bliss.

While in Miami I decided to go to Little Havana or course with my camera in one hand and a Cuban coffee in the other I noticed this man across the street. I felt such deep compassion for him, I have a big heart and always look for the good. So while gazing at him I thought he would make such a wonderful portrait and this is how he became part of my gallery.

One of the hobbies of me and my little boy is photographing in different situations. I took this photo in the home kitchen with natural light and without flash. While my son enjoys turning on and off the candles and the smoke that rose from it. We both played and took photos. Of course, my mother helped me a lot in taking this photo.
