This photo was made in Tanzania. After a long day in the Ngorongoro crater we had the honour to meet a lions family. The male was just around them to control the area, and the cubs could play together.
Photographer:Gabriele Ferrazzi (Rome, Italy)
Gabriele Ferrazzi was born in Rome in 1982, and lives there, but the majority of his shots are from all around the world. He has done a long walk from Cape Town to Istanbul with an overland truck, and his next mission (dream) will be to drive from Rome to Sydney with a car… He likes to define himself as a travel photographer, but in general all his shots are expressions of his vision and his passions. Usually he uses Canon cameras and professional lenses to have the maximum quality. He is 29 years old, and just wants to travel and do photography for the rest of his life. He wants to meet different people, different cultures from every corner of this planet and really start to understand this world.

Springtime is usually associated with green grass, new foliage and blossoming flowers but the other distinct sign that everything is coming to life is the sweet song of birds. The air is filled with the sweet sound of melodious tunes as various birds go about their daily spring chores of foraging for food, wooing their partners and preparing their nests for the next generation… One such bird that I managed to capture during a recent walk in Cammo, Edinburgh was the Blue Tit. What I love about this image is the way the sunlight forms a natural spotlight on the bird and the image as a whole conjures up feelings of peace and serenity .

Photographer: Kurien Koshy Yohannan (Edinburgh, Scotland)
Photography started off as a hobby for Kurien Koshy Yohannan and over time it grew on him – so much so that he now makes a living from it. Koshy believes there is so much beauty around us that can be captured; nature is full of beauty waiting for us to capture it, if we have the eye and receptiveness for it. Koshy intends to capture this beauty through his camera lens for all to enjoy and behold. Though he loves photographing a variety of subjects, he spends most of his time photographing Corporate Events and some of his time photographing Weddings. With whatever free time he has left, he loves getting out and photographing the subjects closest to his heart – Wildlife and Nature.
On a beautiful morning this winter while visiting south Florida I went to the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray, the wildlife present is truly amazing. Birds and Gators coexisting in a natural habitat with a manmade boardwalk throughout. Photographer: Steve Hirsch (Columbus,Ohio, USA)
Steve Hirsch grew up with a love of photography, had a darkroom in his basement and photographed throughout high school. He took some time off to get married, raise 3 girls and become an otolaryngologist. Now that the kids have grown he has renewed his interest in his favorite hobby. His other favorite pastime is travel. The two passions go hand-in-hand, travel landscape and wildlife photography. In order to grow as a photographer he has attended workshops in Africa and various locations. He continues to travel all over the world and the United states to capture animals in their natural habitat and photograph beautiful landscapes in all different seasons of the year and various lighting. His artwork adorns the walls of his home, his friends, family and clients homes as well as medical offices. He feels photography is his way to express oneself artistically and connect with people on a very basic level. He enjoys the process of planning and traveling to each unique location, patiently taking the best shot and exploring the best way to display his works of art. He currently lives in Columbus Ohio USA.
