The Long Lost Memory
08MondayOct 2012Written by Ridita Mizan
During my good old days, I often used to wander along my friends to steal the show of this earth. Very often, we came across the fishing boat by the riverside. For so many hours, we sat and watched the catching of the fishes by the fishermen. Oh, so much I longed to catch fish from the river like them, but I never got that opportunity. At this time of my life, this photo of Abdullah reminds me of that long lost longing of childhood.
Zain Abdullah took this photograph at Kuala Besut, a picturesque fishing village, in the early morning, to take advantage of the golden low-angled light during the magic hour. I wish I could visit again my childhood village, and join them in the fishing! Don’t you feel like so? Share your thoughts with me!
