This photo was taken while climbing Hoverla mountain in Ukraine. Not used to this type of weather and without the proper protection (snow came early), my fingers almost froze and I came close to hypothermia. With help from the guide, I recovered and climbed it all the way to the top, making of this a memorable day.

Near Kramatorsk (Donetsk, Ukraine) is a wonderful natural sights: a regional landscape park “Kramatorsk”. Its area is very large, but are noteworthy chalk cliffs in the village Belokuzminovka that against the background of forest-steppe landscape look particularly fascinating. The white chalk cliffs that rise above the steppe, were formed in the era of the Mesozoic period of unconsolidated marine sediments of an ancient sea. Denudation of the Cretaceous rock rises to a height of more than 25 meters. On the eastern outskirts of the mountain is worth baring sword. Age Chalk Mountain – 90 million years. At the foot of the mountain are many other smaller rocks, potholes, large and small caves. Shepherds there often graze cows. One evening in 2006, I managed to take just such a picture.
