I visit New York City every January for business, and I always go to Times Square for the sights and sounds. I enjoy challenging myself to see the same person twice. On this night it was particularly cold so the typical crowds were sparse. No matter the weather there are always tourists being photographed and [...]
I love the idea of looking and appreciating daily life objects with a different perspective. Thats what I tried to do with this photo. Taken at the streets of New York where pretzels are the most common snacks, I tried to give it a closer, more intimate approach, a macro view.
On a holiday outing i found myself waiting for some friends to finish some shopping at a roadside store in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. What does a photographer do when he finds himself with idle time? Niagara, has become a signature landscape image of mine that has been juried into Gallery Exhibition by renowned photographer Joyce Tenneson and recognized by many of the most respected names in photography. No manipulation was used in the creation of this image. I achieved this unique angle from atop a building, using a long lens [...]
I noticed a natural use of lkines in the veins of this leaf. I wanted to capture this effect and shoot the leaf in a unique POV. I decided to shoot it from a bugs POV using a 60 mm macro lens. Instread of shooting from the view of looking at the leaf I shot [...]
This image was taken using a light box, Nikon 60 mm macro lens and 1 strobe. My emphasis was to bring out the detail in the texture of the flower as well as keep the pistols in focus. To acheive this I used a high f stop for max DOF.
