Born in early summer of 1989, Tina Primozic is a 24 year old freelance web developer and graphic designer, and amateur photographer from Skofja Loka, Slovenia. A couple of years ago she discovered this beautiful world of photography and it soon became a big part of her life. Every photograph that she takes has its own story and at least two meanings behind it – the one she sees herself, and the other from viewers perspective. She thinks that, “there is no better feeling than knowing that you can stop the time and capture a perfect moment that will stay with you forever.”

Lothar Seifert was born 1955 in Germany. He lives in a small village in Upper Lusatia surrounded by wonderful nature. He is currently working as a design engineer, specialist for occupational safety and environmental officer. Over time, photography has become an important part-time of his employment. Lothar Seifert’s journeys in Asia, his friendly relations with the people of various religions in Nepal, Kashmir, Ladakh and India, has learned him to love the road and portrait photography. The motivating impulses from these Asian countries are limitless. Lothar’s pictures from Asia shows also solidarity with the poor people on earth. For three years he organized support for the schooling of children from poor families in Nepal and sends winter clothing for children in the cold regions of the Himalayas. By these experiences and adventures Lothar gets incidentally wonderful motifs for photography.

The invitation of the Secretary of State for Culture and Tourism of Jammu and Kashmir brought Lothar in 2009 for the second time on a photo safari in the beautiful countries Kashmir and Ladakh. The most important photo for Lothar is not by himself, but by the photographers by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. This picture shows His Holiness together with Lothar Seifert and a friend. In addition, Lothar likes the faces of little insects and makes many macro shots of the animals and plants. With his photographs and conservation projects he wants to help to understand the nature and to save the environment.

Photography took a backseat while Ronnie obtained his college degree. After graduation, he purchased his first camera but was unable to produce the images that he saw in his mind. He then took a few continuing education classes to learn the technical aspects of the camera and realized there was so much more to learn about photography. So Ronnie enrolled in the professional program at Southeastern Center for the Arts in Atlanta. The school was operated by Jeanne & Neil Chaput de Saintonge, who currently operate Rocky Mountain School of Photography. He spent 14 years living in Alaska and this gave him unbelievable opportunities to experience nature and capture many images. Ronnie also enjoys sports and travel photography and the experience of different cultures. It is his wish that his images will expose others to the beauty of nature, the inspiration of physical pursuits, and other cultures and promote a greater understanding of each. Most recently, he has ventured into the exploding mobile photography realm using his iPhone to document running and sporting events. He invites everyone to enjoy his gallery and feel free to contact him with any comments.

He started using a film camera and learning dark room processing in black and white, and then finally moved to digital in 2009 when he bought his first Canon 50D. He attended various photography workshop and post-processing courses that made him developed a particular workflow from the raw capture to the final image. He loves taking picture of everything he likes, from landscapes to portraits and live music event. Some of his pictures were published in a prestigious Italian art magazine Overart. He won the photography competition contest of “Passione Italia” in 2011 with the photo “Quando la città dorme” that was used as a cover image for the White Pages of the Bergamo area. This photo was taken for my Photography class in High School. We had a project that called for a still life of our own creation. I like things made of rainbows and flowers and thought I could incorporate it well this way. It reminds me of being a little girl and looking forward to seeing rainbows after the storm and the May flowers that I used to think came for me, since my birthday was in May.

Photographer: Stephanie Gillis ( Toledo, Ohio, USA ) Registered Photographer
Stephanie Gillis was born in Toledo, Ohio in May 1994. She has always been artistic and really into photography. When she was younger she thought the chances of her becoming an known artist was about the same as becoming a rock star. But her mom encouraged her to try to make a living off of what she loves. She hasn’t done really anything professional yet, but she is working her way there. She hopes to get a lot of exposure of her artwork and maybe one day sells it. Stephanie Mostly does it for the passion and the fun. Her life motto is, “Photography is a part of who I am. It’s how I see the world. Everything is beautiful, you just have to see it through the camera’s eye, and not the eyes of people.” She lives by that and let it guides her.

Henri Coleman is a native Texan who grew up in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, attended Texas State University and graduated with a B.S. in Home Economics. Upon graduation, Henri moved to Austin, married and started a family. After raising three children and helping to build a family-owned business, she retired and started traveling. The first major trip abroad was a cruise that started in Monaco and ended in Barcelona. On the first day of touring, her Nikon camera was stolen and she had to rely on throw-away cameras for the remainder of the trip. Once Henri returned home and developed all the film, she fell in love with the story that the photos captured. Henri was hooked…an amateur photographer was born.

Using the photos that she had taken on her recent European trip, she created a blog “Henri Loves…,” started sharing photos on the blog and on Twitter. The following year Henri had the opportunity to go to Paris and fell hard for the city. She was able to return to Paris again that same year and Paris became “her special place.” The blog has been a work-in-progress with a tweak to the name, “Henri Loves Paris…” Additionally, she started a successful Facebook page, “Henri Loves Paris.” Henri has a faithful group of people who follow her page and she finds the interaction rewarding and fun.
After three years of travel in France and shooting photos with a point-and-shoot and iPhone, Henri finally graduated to a Nikon D5100. She is still in learning mode with the new camera, but that hasn’t stopped her from doing what she loves to do most…finding something of beauty or interest, pointing and shooting!

Photograph Location: Versoix | Switzerland

Photographer: Jana Zelenovic (Geneva, Switzerland) Registered Photographer
Jana Zelenovic began flirting with photography in 2010 when she realized that taking trips and walks are much more interesting with a camera in her hands. She had moved from Slovenia to Switzerland, and wanted to capture all the new landscape, nature and people that she had been meeting. Jana started with an Olympus e420, but later adopted a new pet, Nikon D700. She also loves playing the piano, traveling, learning new languages and baking.
