This photograph was shoot from middle of river The Buri Ganga . When I saw this boat man, he was preparing for prayer . Washed his face his hands and leags for evening prayer . I was astonished after saw him pray on boat . and after finished his prayer waited for customer.

Shahnaz Parvin currently working in a PSI company as Computer Hardware and Network system admin. Photography is her dream and she loves to do it for her soul . From her childhood , it was a very interesting thing to capture moments with a camera for her, and all time thought if she got any camera ! Three years ago after join her office as a computer system admin, her dream came true. Around two years ago she got a chance to use a pocket (Olympus) camera for 3days, and then November 2009 finally she bought a DSRLR camera, but unfortunately after three months lost it , then started waiting and after 11months again bought canon DSLR with kit lens. Till now haven’t got chance to join any photography school and workshop. Hope one day she will and she is waiting for that day.

    I’d like to comment on the picture only… It is a natural BW photo in my opinion… meaning I think there’s no additional editing on the color levels. The shades of gray looks very natural and that makes me love this picture. The moment is nicely capture – especially when you know that he was about to pray… Well done…
