Photo of the Day - March 24
I love this picture because I’m always asking myself what the hell is behind the locked door. To strengthen the attraction of the forbidden I made it black and white. It’s always the same whether you’re young or old everybody likes the attraction of the forbidden. Like you say to a child it is not allowed to do that and of course it will try it despite all warnings.

Technical Info: Canon EOS 50D | Exposure: 1/40sec | Aperture: f/4.0 | ISO: 100 | Focal Length: 35 mm
Title of the photograph: The Attraction of the Forbidden
Photo of the Day Award Category: Conceptual Photography
Photographer: Stefan Thallner (Allhartsberg, Amstetten, Austria )
Stefan Thallner is 23 years old and lives in Allhartsberg, Lower Austria. He likes the country very much because in Austria, there are lots of beautiful and multifaceted places, especially the alps. After he finished college with specialization in technical computer science he started working as a web developer. That is when His grandfather gave him his old Canon EOS D30, which is Stefan’s first DSLR in the year 2007. It was him who awoke his interests in photography and it’s because of him that his biggest hobby got taking pictures now. Since 2007 Stefan tried a lot with his camera, he likes challenges and to explore something new. He knows he is not a professional but taking pictures means something special to him. When he takes his camera he feels free! There is no pressure, it’s just him and his camera.

Seriously love it. Dark, twisty and enticing. Draws the eye and the little kid who can’t keep his hand out of the cookie jar even though he knows it’s probably gonna get stuck.
