Photo of the Day | January 16 | Hoping for Snow, by Vincent Llora

Taken with a Pentax K-x and 18-55mm lens. One speedlite in an umbrella softbox was used to light the subject, from high camera right. Another speedlite was used in the background to shine onto glassware to create bokeh. The dreamy look in her eyes draws you in and just makes you stare at her for a moment longer.

Since Vincent Llora was a kid he has always wanted to capture art, and have done it in a variety of ways, starting with drawing and painting. In high school he discovered photography and quickly grew to love it as an art form. Through circumstance he entered employment in the graphic communications industry, and learned to express himself and create art through graphic design. Although that has been his occupation for the last 15 years, he loves photography, think about it all day, and it is all he wants to do.
