I love the idea of looking and appreciating daily life objects with a different perspective. Thats what I tried to do with this photo. Taken at the streets of New York where pretzels are the most common snacks, I tried to give it a closer, more intimate approach, a macro view.

Alejandra Sierra studied International Relations at the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and has been working with photography for the past 2 and a half years. She has taken courses at the Universitary Center of Audiovisual Media at Guadalajara and at The Internacional Center of Photography at New York. She has worked on food and architecture photography, but she specializes in macro, animal and travel photography. Alejandra´s goal with photography to appreciate daily life things and to look at them with a different perspective. She, who currently resides in Guadalajara, Mexico, is studying and practicing to become an outstanding photographer and to challenge people to dare to see common things from a new and unique point of view.
