In the Name of Your Lord, by Shahnaz Parvin

Remember my 2 years old nephew Fatin, whom we always find praying, and supplicating with others. Even at such young age, every day he takes the book for learning Quran and trying to read. His innocent act reminds me about the first few verses of Quran that was revealed – “Recite in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a (mere) clot of congealed blood. Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous.”

“Who has taught (the writing) by the pen.** Has taught man that which he knew not. No! [But] indeed, man transgresses. Because man considers himself self-sufficient. Surely! Unto your Lord is the return.” (Quran, Chapter 96 verse 1-8)
**the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)- the great-grandfather of Prophet Noah.
