Guanabara Amusement Park, my favorite amusement park! Since I was young, I frequently visit this park, and so I have a special affection for it! This photo, Minhocao toy, has been operating since then … a small roller coaster!

Patricia Saraiva born in the city of Apucarana, in Parana, Brazil, in 1969, daughter of Alda and Osmundo Saraiva. Lived with her parents and her two sisters, Angelica and Luciana, until the age of 16. Then, she moved to Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, to do the first and the second years in high school, and then entered the medicine college. There, she lived with maternal grandparents. She graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais in 1993, specializing in next 5 years in Plastic Surgery. With the birth of her two children, Victoria and Andre, she started to take pictures of them and these were her first contacts with a camera.. She took photos that recordered growth, the rides, the games, the birthdays… The extent to which photographed, came to have their photos noticed and praised, as good quality and frame. Nowadays, whenever leaving home, and even within her medical bag, takes her camera and in the absence of that, she uses the phone’s camera, to record what calls her attention during the day, and during trips. Her first photographic exhibition, “Barcelona Balconies” occurred in 2011 in the city of Sao Paulo-SP-Brasil. In 2012, the same exhibition went to Belo Horizonte-MG, which ran for two months. She took records of the works of Antonio Francisco Lisboa, icon of Baroque art in Brazil, in the book: “The Aleijadinho-Catálogo Geral da obra” by Marcio Jardim(2012). Her greatest desire is to devote more time to photography and to improve her talent, which is her hobby and passion, through social networks and internet, where the photos are appreciated and known without borders.

After work I’ve rush to the river, my goal was to do some slow shutter speed photos, I’ve waited until the sunset. I’ve already known where should I be, I set the frame, so I can have the street lights, and the sunset sky colors, plus the slow shutter speed effect, I did much less photos then I usually do, but I get what I wanted..

Born in Ouarzazate in 1987, Abdellah Azizi is a passionate photographer from Morocco, who loves to photograph South Moroccan landscapes, people, folklorists’ bands, and the life of the rich part of Africa. After finishing high school, Abdellah applied for the Institute specialized for film industry, where he studied for two years on techniques of lighting, and griping. Then he moved to Casablanca to study camera work, and audio-visual post production for a year. He started to work as camera an assistant, lighting technician, and also worked for a local e-magazine, as videographer. The e-magazine didn’t have a photographer, so they asked him to do some photo assignments for them, and they liked his work. From then Abdellah moved to photography. There are lots of other reasons too, but the main one he believes is the freedom he enjoys in this medium.

At the same time he wanted to photograph his family, especially his son Arkapravo, and bought his first camera Canon SX 40 HS. After returning home, he has fallen in love with photography passionately. Photography completely changes his whole attitude towards nature and human being. It gives him a sort of peace to his weary mind, as if a blessings from Almighty.

Piccadilly, by Sergiy Kadulin

London is famous of its red doubledeckers. And Piccadilly, without any doubt, is one of London’s signature squares, which looks especially attractive at night: full of life, neon lights, music and night drive. I wanted to show somehow magical spirit of this place, so decided to make red color cast from the moving red buses, with the Piccadilly background. It took a while to catch two buses to form this composition, but finally I achieved it. I didn’t have tripod with me, so was using metal fence to stabilize camera. Photograph made in September, 2010.

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1967, Sergiy Kadulin grew up in the family with his sister and mother, as his father died when they were two years old. He graduated from the military aviation academy (avionics engineer), and later on, from MBA school (IBR school, based in Ukraine). While majority of his professional career was with information technology, where he worked for such companies as American Power Conversion, hp, Microsoft, and now working with Apple as director of Apple VAD in Ukraine, but photography is his greatest passion and hobby.

Sergiy’s first experience was with his grandfather’s camera (made in 1936), and while he was studying in school he started mode in-depth learning of photography, including dark room processing, shooting on color films, etc. His first own camera (shared with his sister) was Smena-8M, which was very popular in Soviet Union as basic and very affordable camera for children. In upper class his mother gave him a gift – Zenit-12SD, which was his first real film DSLR and he enjoyed it for many years. Later on, while being on business trip in Canada, he bought Minolta with set of lenses, which was far more advanced one. Large part of his film photo collection was made with it. Sergiy was quite skeptical towards digital photography at the beginning, and switched completely to digital workflow by late 90’s until early 2000. About 7 years ago he graduated from the professional photography course in the Kyiv School of Photography, and later on, continued to study (distance learning course of professional photography) in New York Institute of Photography. He also attended number of training courses in different other schools and on top of it, learn new interesting areas online. He did his first photo exhibition in April, 2011, which was named “Sikkim. Beginning” and was devoted to his trekking in Himalaya, Sikkim, India, in 2010.

Sergiy’s favorite type of photography is travel and landscape; however he likes reportage as well. He does devote significant portion of his time to internal growth and development, which to his strong opinion, is the most important part of any creative human. He is trying to use photography as means to share his deep love to the world, to other people and nature, and pass warmth of his heart to them.

A sport race is a competition of speed, against an objective criterion, usually a clock or to a specific point. The competitors in a race try to complete a given task in the shortest amount of time. Typically this involves traversing some distance, but it can be any other task involving speed to reach a specific goal. In Uae, offroad racing runs its own class structure and has a multiple-round national championship. Its flagship event, the two day, is a stand-alone international endurance race which is currently held every other year.

He is inspired by some of the greatest masters of this art and wishes to absorb a droplet a day of their thought, and challenges himself to be better at his skills every new moment that arrives. Joy loves his family a lot, and likes to have them around, because of their constant support, who are always there for him no matter what they are, photography enthusiasts or not.

Coming out successfully from a fly by over bombing during the famous air show Wings over Houston in Ellington Field south of Houston. This beautiful Douglas A-26B-30-DL Invader R/N 41-39359 aircraft is one of many of the delightful views among the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels.

Oscar Garcia was born in Mexico City in the late 50’s, lived in Guadalajara, grew up in a large family of 7 kids. Married with a wonderful woman from the Northwestern Mexican state of Sonora, has three beautiful and intelligent children, all of them with a great eye for photography. He went to college in Mexico City to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering and fulfill his passion for Mineralogy, and earth sciences. Nevertheless, this passion for minerals is now just an expensive hobby for him. The family immigrated to the USA back in 1989 to work for an American manufacturer of petroleum equipment, same field Oscar has been ever since. His career has sent him to 32 countries so far, as an international area sales manager with more focus in Latin America in the past 10 years.
During his sales career, Oscar pursued a Master in Business Administration degree in Houston Texas, graduating in 2007. The objective was to get a little help to boost his sales career with new credentials. He currently lives in Houston, Texas in the USA. Oscar’s first experience with photography goes back to the 60’s with a rudimentary camera owned by his Mother. He used to borrow it whenever he went on a field trip during college. He has bought his first digital camera, a Sony Mavica in 1998, its memory was just a floppy, and 1MB filled the diskette. Replaced in 2003 by another Sony, this one with 5 Mpixels, then soon a Panasonic with 8 Mpixels. He finally discovered the Nikon world in 2007 with a Nikon D40X. His current gear is a Nikon D90, which he believes is a great camera; however, he still misses the lighter weight and vivid colors of the D40X, now owned by his eldest daughter. Some of his photographs have been selected by either newspapers, aviation organizations and magazines.

Surprise visitor from Miami Florida, the mighty Jumbo Boeing 747-400 of China Airlines approaching the Intercontinental Airport of Houston from West to East. Found the flight using a nice application in my iPhone: Flightradar24 which gives airline, altitude, speed, ETA and other nice and useful information for the aviation lovers.

Ever since my Dad took me to an air show back in the late 60′s in Guadalajara, I’ve got hooked watching these brave men and women flying at supersonic speeds making dangerous maneuvers with their gorgeous F-18 Hornets. This blue sky background serves as glorious witness of the Blue Angels breaking off their flower formation.

Being a software professional since 1999, Dipanjan Mitra always had an intense desire to travel across the Indian terrains. It was long inhibited till 2006 when his journey began with a small digital camera in the state of Karnataka. The world of photography really got him going when he moved on to a relatively higher end digital camera in the form of Canon S5 IS which he had used for around 2 years, trying to learn the magic of shutter and aperture until the real journey began with a Rebel T1i in May 2010.
