Innocence in Training
10WednesdayOct 2012Written by Sadia Naheen
Is innocence an interesting concept? We’re not aware when we have it, but the moment we start losing our innocence, we recognize we had something really beautiful and special that’s gone. All we can do, is watch as this slips away through our fingers…then, the search begins. Arguably, an innocent smile is one of the most captured photographs, but we love these images and crave for more.
Nothing screams more innocence than in this photograph of young monks at the Golden Temple Monastery in Bylakuppe, taken by Ashwin Kumar. In this beautiful image, everything is about innocence, the light, serene faces, environment, down to the cloth donned by these young monks.
