Freshly Made Biscotti by Rabih Madi
This is during a shoot I was doing for Panelli’s, these Biscotti were siting on the counter beside the cashier. Took a fast snapshot of this delicious treat.
Lunchtime by Silvia Bukovac Gasevic
I made this image using horizontal tripod arm and wooden plank I bought in a local store at the time that I lived in Luxembourg. The setting is simple, main dish with a dessert with only a window light from the left and the white reflection board from the right. I also used tripod weight bag and wireless trigger for Canon. Yes, it was my vegetarian lunch. :)
The Art of Sushi by Keshia Sophia
This photograph was an exercise in texture. However I couldn’t resist adding a little action. Sushi is a dish best served shared and I wanted to capture that pleasure. There is something so elegant and delicate about using chopsticks. It really is an art form. But the same can be said about making sushi. Combining both movements allows for a more fuller image of the sushi eating experience. The complexity is in the dish itself which means keeping the background and props to an absolute minimum.
