Light in the Dark by Maria Magdalena Vladu-Popa

I took this photo on a winter evening, in the center of the city where I live. The Christmas Fair had just started and the streets were crowded with people who were admiring the Christmas decorations or eating gingerbread. I was there with my parents and they offered to pose for me. The photo is a portrait of my mother and was done using one of the Christmas lights arrangements on the street.

In this brilliant event where all stars shine, I didn’t have the privilege to be in the first line, but I did the best of my knowledge by capturing the artist with all the crowd in front of my camera. I captured this photo with a 50-250 mm lens and a focal length of 250mm.

At one time I was very interested in multi-exposure to film. Performed 2 exposures per frame. And often it’s also a separate shot if you wanted to capture a “clean” portrait of a person.
